OWN PLACE

The project tries to configure a own place on a plot that acts as a boundary between a residential area and a commercial and industrial area. The volume stands out for its high degree of openness, seeking the best orientations and views.

COMPACITY AND OPENESS

The compact volume is characterized by the repetition of the same hole (2.5×5.5m) that forms the grid that defines the image and the visual rhythm of the building. Each of the holes is filled by a frame that controls the opening and closing of each house. Behind the rhythmic and modular volumetry is an open and bright house.

FLEXIBILITY AND CUSTOMIZATION

The house is organized through a central axis that contains the most public spaces. Access is through the “sun-room”; intermediate space between exterior and interior that opened acts as a terrace and closed as a place that favors the climatization of the house. All this establishes a high degree of personalization.

PREFRABRICATION AND DRY CONSTRUCTION Given the strict modulation of the structure (6×6 meters) and the repetition of the construction elements, the proposal favors an optimization of the construction and its execution. A dry assembly is proposed, through a prefabricated structure that forms the concrete frame of the set.

ENERGY OPTIMIZATION

The project tries to achive the optimization of energy resources and general efficiency, as shown by its rhythmic and compact volumetry, as well as a modular and dry construction. In the case of the type, the «sunroom» acts as a passive system, accumulating heat in winter or favoring cross ventilation in summer.

LUGAR PROPIO

La propuesta trata de configurar un lugar propio en un solar que actúa de límite entre una zona residencial y otra comercial e industrial. El volumen destaca por un alto grado de apertura buscando las mejores orientaciones y vistas.

COMPACIDAD Y APERTURA

El compacto volumen se caracteriza por la repetición de un mismo hueco (2,5×5,5m) que forma la retícula que define la imagen y el ritmo visual del conjunto. Cada uno de los huecos se rellena por un marco que controla la apertura y el cierre de cada vivienda. Detrás de la rítmica y modular volumetría se encuentra una vivienda abierta y luminosa.

FLEXIBILIDAD Y PERSONALIZACIÓN

La vivienda se organiza mediante un eje central pasante que contiene los espacios más públicos. El acceso se realiza por la “habitación solar”; espacio intermedio entre exterior e interior que abierto actúa como terraza y cerrado como lugar que favorece la climatización de la vivienda. Todo ello establece un alto grado de personalización.

PREFRABRICACIÓN Y CONSTRUCCIÓN EN SECO

Dada la estricta modulación de la estructura (6×6 metros) y la repetición de los elementos constructivos, la propuesta favorece una optimización de la construcción y de su ejecución. Se plantea un montaje en seco, a través de una estructura prefabricada que conforma el armazón de hormigón del conjunto.
