Public Intimacy: Architecture and Visual Arts gives continuity to the multidisciplinary approach, although architecture and cinema acquire greater importance given their relevance in the development of the artistic avant-garde since the beginning of the 20th century. The interest in the role of images in the construction of individual and collective memory stands out, in the human body as an object of observation and mediation between art and science, or in housing (home) and urban space from its temporary condition as expression and place of the contemporary subject. The result is a sophisticated map, where memory, body and home constitute a journey that oscillates between the inside and the outside to connect the public sphere with a more emotional and intimate one. The three sections that structure the text, also acquire a spatial notion that introduces the reader to a trajectory formed by spaces of memory, spaces of observation and spaces of time.

Public Intimacy: Architecture and Visual Arts da continuidad al enfoque multidisciplinar, si bien la arquitectura y el cine adquieren mayor peso dado su protagonismo en el desarrollo de las vanguardias artísticas desde principios del siglo XX. Destaca el interés por el papel de las imágenes en la construcción de una memoria individual y colectiva, por el cuerpo humano como objeto de observación y mediación entre arte y ciencia, o por la vivienda (hogar) y el espacio urbano desde su condición temporal como expresión y lugar del sujeto contemporáneo. El resultado es un sofisticado mapa, donde memoria, cuerpo y hogar, constituyen un recorrido que oscila entre el dentro y el fuera para conectar el ámbito de lo público con otro más emocional e íntimo. Los tres apartados que estructuran el texto, también adquieren una noción espacial que introducen al lector en una trayectoria formada por espacios de la memoria, espacios de la observación y espacios del tiempo.
